Leslie Perlis has been a glass artist since first discovering it in 1975 and she has amassed a very large collection of drawings and photographs that she generously agreed to share with the world. Leslie’s work challenges the boundaries of glass art with a style that is all her own. Her signature sea-form designs that are rendered in vivid color are nothing short of spectacular. Much of Leslie’s work is fabricated traditional lead or foil technique but she likes to add details using blown, etched, painted and fused glass components. Her commitment to artistic excellence while pushing the technical envelope is in evidence throughout this collection.

About the Author:

Leslie Perlis has been a glass artist since first discovering it in 1975.  She likes to push the artistic envelope of traditional stained glass as she explores the relationship of bold flowing curves, stark straight lines and bright energetic colors to produce an exuberant visual experience. In her more recent work Leslie has turned her artistic attention toward studio kiln glass and mosaic work, adding her own twists and turns to satisfy her personal vision and her client’s desire.
