Use this mold to shape an oval tray that will be 11 3/8” x 7 1/2”
This 11 7/8″ by 8″ oval stainless steel mold will enable fusers to shape a beautiful 11 3/8″ x 7 1/2″ oval tray. The flat oval design can be either a single layer of glass (1/8” thick) with your design on it or it could be a double layer of glass (1/4” thick) plus design. This mold needs to be prepared by lightly sanding the surface with a very fine grit sandpaper or emery cloth to barely roughen the surface to remove the shine. Then it needs a good coating of mold release. We recommend spraying the surface with 2 coats of ZYP Boron Nitrite, allowing a 20 minute drying time between coats.
