Exceptional Works in Metal Clay & Glass
Metal Clay, Beads & Glass Jewelry
Showcasing 62 spectacular pieces of creative work by 37 prominent metal clay artists from around the world.
by Mary Ann & Ken Devos
This book presents 37 metal clay artists featuring 62 unique art-pieces. The work is showcased using high quality images taken at various view angles to enable the viewer to make a complete inspection of the piece – as if they were holding and turning the piece in their own hands. Each art-object is accompanied with a brief commentary about the artist’s work, a listing of statistics for the piece, plus the artist’s name, city, state, country and website information.
The work presented in this book, by 37 different metal clay artists is both breathtaking and inspiring. Each art-object combines silver clay with some form of glass to demonstrate the creative potential available by the using of these two materials in the same project. The greatest aspect of these pieces is the knowledge that jewelry makers are just beginning to explore the possible uses of silver clay as an artistic material.
