It is available in fine silver (0.999%) and 24K gold and is composed of microscopic metal particles, a non-toxic organic binder and water. The fabrication process requires much less equipment and training than traditional metal jewelry working, making it easily accessible to artists, hobby-crafters, and fine jewelers. PMC can be combined with many materials such as semi-precious gems, glass, porcelain and ceramics.

About the Authors:

Mary Ann was a pioneer in metal clay and working with it since 1996. She was the Director of Education for Art Clay and the Director of Education for PMC Connection, a direct importer of PMC into the US. Ken is the Program Coordinator and a Senior Teacher for PMC Connection. In addition to teaching PMC techniques, he is responsible for the business end of the process. He served as Senior Editor and provided photography for all of Mary Ann’s first books.
